The Kingsley Road site is located in the Toxteth area of Liverpool 2km East of the City Centre
The site is a brownfield site and previously housed 5 terrace houses which were demolished due to their sub-standard accommodation. The surrounding area is primarily made up of two storey residential houses. Adjacent to the site stands a Presby hall next to the associated Church Our lady of Lourdes and St Bernard.
The site previously house 5 three storey terrace houses which were subsequently demolished. The proposals call for 6 two bedroom houses to form part of LHT’s social housing stock. LHT have previously identified a shortage of 2 bedroom dwellings due to the introduction of the bedroom tax.
